Guatemala, a country rich in history and culture, holds a special place in the heart of many. As a proud Guatemalan, the desire to honor my heritage led me to create beaded earrings of the Quetzal, that have quickly become a top seller.

Fun Facts About Guatemala
Did you know that Guatemala is home to 37 volcanoes, several of which are still active? Or that it is one of the birthplaces of chocolate, with the Mayans being the first to cultivate cacao? Lake Atitlán, is a Natural Wonder, surrounded by volcanoes and small villages. Semana Santa, ( Holy Week) is legendary! These are just a few of the fascinating facts that make Guatemala a fascinating and unique country.
The Inspiration Behind the Beaded Earrings
For the longest time, I wanted to create earrings that paid tribute to my parents, I needed these earrings to be extra special. My parents are from Puerto Barrios, a city in Guatemala, in the Gulf of Honduras. They often tell me stories about how they grew up and how they miss it. What is more special than the Quetzal. The national bird of Guatemala. Each pair is carefully handcrafted using the highest quality beads.
Why Are They a Top Seller?
We are so thankful for our fellow Guatemalan friend, Marielena, from @marielenatravels. Who shared our earrings and we SOLD OUT in one day! The beaded earrings quickly gained popularity with Marielena's followers, not only for their stunning aesthetics but also for the story behind them. Customers were drawn to the unique blend of culture and craftsmanship that each pair represented. The earrings became more than just accessories – they became a symbol of pride and connection to Guatemala.
