Coquito Recipe

One of my favorite things to make during the holiday season, is Coquito!! I have tried several recipes, but this one of my favorites, and I wanted to share with you! I hope you try it and enjoy it!Â
– 3 cinnamon sticks
– 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
– 1 can condensed milk (14 oz)
– 1 can of cream of coconut (NOT COCONUT MILK) (15 oz)
Â
– 1 1/4 cup rum (Bacardi ONLY)
Â
– Boil 2 cups of water in a large pot with the cinnamon sticks. When the water starts to turn a brownish color, turn the heat down to medium and take the cinnamon sticks out. (discard the cinnamon sticks)
Â
– Pour the evaporated milk, then the cream of coconut, then the condensed milk. (In that order). Heat until well blended, there will still be small cream of coconut bits, but blend well.
Â
– Place all ingredients in a blender and blend well.
Â
– Add 1 1/4 Cup of Rum into blender
Â
– Blend again
-Refrigerate and enjoy!Â
